What is PACE?
PACE got its start through a pilot program in Berkeley, California in 2007. Since then, the program has spread rapidly across the country, including 27 states plus the District of Columbia where the program is in full effect or has supporting legislation pending. PACE enjoys bipartisan support from politicians on all levels because it promotes clean energy, stimulates job creation and does not rely on taxpayer funding.
PACE is currently offered in the following states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisana, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
PACE is active in Florida
EcoCity Partners administers the Florida Green Finance Authority, a partnership of local governments from across Florida formed to offer PACE financing to commercial property owners. Our programs include Florida Green Energy Works, the first commercially-focused PACE program in Florida, which finances energy efficiency, renewable energy and wind resistance improvements.
